Student Testimonial

“Since more than a year I am enjoying studying Tibetan online (currently on A2 level) with དགེ་རྒན་ Rinchen ལགས།. We conduct almost the entire class in བོད་སྐད་. She maintains a ལྷོད་ལྷོད་ atmosphere while being systematically thorough. For example, when we read dialogues, we discuss each section, identify ཚིག་གསར་ and practice exercises. Her བཟོད་བསྲན་ makes challenging topics manageable. The classes cover reading, listening, writing and speaking. She actively encourages རང་སྦྱོང་. Her methodical approach enables steady improvement. ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ།”

“Rinchen la’s teaching skills are excellent. She brings interest, playfulness, and curiosity into each class. She is willing to explore the limits of my understanding in a way that makes me feel safe and welcome, while never making me feel self-conscious.The classes are beginning to increase in challenge, which I truly welcome. At the same time, she is very diligent in making sure we don’t skip over anything important that I might need to review. All in all, I would highly recommend her as a Tibetan language teacher.”

Student Testimonial

“I really like Kunga la’s course. I can always ask her questions about the lesson, whether it’s about vocabulary, grammar, or text context. She always answers very patiently and wisely. It feels great that as we progress through the course topics, we also explore parallels in my country, and she teaches us how to express them in Tibetan. I feel like I’ve improved a lot. For example, the topic right now is shopping, and I feel confident enough to go to a Tibetan market to buy vegetables and fruit in Tibetan. I am very grateful to her for everything so far, and I hope she can accompany me all the way to level B2.”

Student Testimonial

“You are very patient and kind in your teaching. You know the Sherab material deeply, and are aware of my capabilities, so you know when to progress and when to work on a subject more and more. I am surprised at how much Tibetan I have learned in the past 9 months. I also appreciate the repetition, for example with the pronunciation of letters and specific words.”

“I think my Tibetan teacher Chodon is a really good teacher. She has a lot of patience in explaining and makes me feel it’s easy to understand and remember Tibetan. The class has been very helpful, and I am learning in a relaxed and smart way because of Gen Chodon. Her corrections on my pronunciation and sentences have helped me a lot in learning how to express myself in Tibetan.”
